Spindly, open & erect or dense & spreading shrub, 0.3-1.3 m high. Fl. cream-white, Jun to Jul or Sep to Oct or Dec or Jan to Apr. White/grey sand over limestone, quartzite or laterite, loamy clay. Coastal cliffs & dunes, sandplains, steep rocky slopes, in quartzite crevices.
