Dense, erect or semi-prostrate shrub, 0.3-2.5 m high, phyllodes 40-80 mm long. Fl. yellow, Jul to Oct. Sandy to gravelly clay, sandy or stony loam, granitic soils. Sandplains, lateritic ridges, rocky rises & hills.
