Multi-stemmed shrub or tree, 1-3 m high, phyllodes flat, (41-)77-120 mm long; spikes simple; pods 2.5-3 mm wide. Fl. yellow, Apr. Red earth. Erosion surface of plain above river, rock outcrops, shrub grassland.
