Shrub, to 5 m high, bark rough, papery, peeling at base. Fl. yellow, Dec. Grey sand, grey cracking clay, sandy clays & loams over granite, laterite gravel, quartz. Flats, gentle undulating slopes, hills, edge of drainage lines, adjacent to salt lakes.
