Many-stemmed shrub, 0.5-2.5 m high. Fl. yellow/orange-red, Jun to Dec. White, grey, yellow, brown sand, sandy clay, laterite, granite, limestone. Base of escarpment, plains, rocky hills, gorges, plateaus, roadsides.
