Tree or shrub, to 10 m high, root parasite; bark rough, grey-brown. Fl. yellow-orange, Oct to Dec or Jan. White, grey or yellow sand, sandy loams, brown sandy gravel over clay, granite, laterite, limestone. Sandplains, slopes, base of rock outcrops.
