Scientific Description

Prostrate shrubs; branchlets glabrous or hairy. Leaves petiolate, alternate, 150-330 mm long, 8-20 mm wide, hairy; petiole 15-35 mm long; lamina flat, once divided, pinnately divided, deeply divided, with 15-38 lobes on each side, the margins recurved. Inflorescences pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), pink or brown; innermost bracts 18-22 mm long, hairy. Perianth 27-35 mm long, hairy, all over, limb apex hirsute (with long, rough and coarse hairs), without awns; pistil 38-45 mm long, straight, style glabrous. Follicles hairy, pubescent (with soft, straight, erect hairs), obovate, 13-16 mm long. Flowers in August. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
