Erect, ascending to semi-prostrate, glabrous, resinous shrub, 1(-1.3) m high, bark smooth to slightly fissured at base, grey or brown; phyllodes narrowly elliptic 0.7-2 cm long. Fl. yellow, Jan to Oct. Sand, sandy clay, stony soil, red loam, laterite, sandstone. Plains, ridges, undulating country, near river.
