Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 10-40 mm long, 4-15 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, simple hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 30-45 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 8-9 mm long, hairy, with sparse, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 16-23 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, simple hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 4.5-8.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 10.5-12 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 1.5 mm wide on the narrower side, 2 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 10-13 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in March, April and May. Occurs in the Victoria Bonaparte (VB), Northern Kimberly (NK) and Central Kimberly (CK) IBRA Region(s), of the Northern (N) Botanical Province.
