Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.05-0.5 m high, blade 3-pinnate at the base; upper pinnule surface glabrous, lower surface glabrous or nearly so. Fl. Aug. Sandy to clayey loams, gravel, laterite, granite. Rock crevices, slopes, outcrops, near waterfalls or streams, floodplains.
