Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.04-0.25 m high, Leaves narrowly oblanceolate to oblanceolate, 0.4-1.2 cm long, 0.8-1.5 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glabrous. Scape glabrous. Fl. pink, Feb to Apr. Clay loam, peaty sand. Mountain peaks and slopes. Heath.
