Erect shrub, 0.6-2 m high. Fl. blue-white, Mar to Aug. Sandy soils. Sandstone rocks.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 25-50 mm long, 5-15 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, dendritic hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 4-7 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs. Pedicel absent (flowers sessile). Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 0-0.4 mm long, hairy, with dense, dendritic hairs. Corolla blue or purple, 18-20 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, dendritic hairs, hairy on the inside, 0.4-0.8 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 13-18 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules one or two. Flowers in March, April, May, June, July and August. Occurs in the Ord-Victoria Plains (OVP), Victoria Bonaparte (VB) and Central Kimberly (CK) IBRA Region(s), of the Northern (N) Botanical Province.
