(Mallee), 1.5-8 m high, bark rough, flaky, fibrous on the trunk, smooth above. Fl. white-cream-yellow, Apr to Oct. Red or yellow sand, skeletal soils over sandstone or ironstone. Rocky rises, sandplains.
