Bushy, often gnarled shrub or tree, 1-4(-5) m high, phyllodes 3-10(-20) mm wide. Fl. yellow, Jan or Apr or Jun to Nov. Rocky sand. Commonly on stony grounds, along creeks & drainage lines.
