Erect, spreading shrub, 0.5-1.5 m high, phyllodes flat, 4-8(-15) mm long, glabrous; inflorescences simple, heads globular, pods 4-5 mm wide. Fl. yellow, Apr and Aug. Calcareous sand over clay, brown loamy granitic soil. Shallow depressions at base of lateritic rise, gently undulating plain.
