Herb, 0.7-1.5 m high, leaves facsiculate, linear, entire. Fl. white, Sep to Oct. Skeletal loamy sand over granite. Hillsides & rocky outcrops.

Scientific Description

Stems ribbed. Leaves compressed, 8-25 mm long, 0.7-1 mm wide, Indumentum absent (leaves glabrous); margins entire. Bracteoles present, 2-5 mm long, glabrous. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 2-2.5 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 5-7.5 mm long, glabrous. Corolla white, 13-19 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, glabrous on the outside, hairy on the inside, without wings, 1-1.2 mm wide, wingless. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 8-10 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in September and October. Occurs in the Coolgardie (COO) and Mallee (MAL) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
