Upright, spreading annual, herb, 0.05-0.12 m high. Fl. blue, Sep to Oct. Yellow-red-brown sand, clay, gravel, granite, laterite. Exposed flat apron, under Casuarinas.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 10-35 mm long, 2-6 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, simple hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 3.5-5 mm long, hairy. Pedicel absent (flowers sessile). Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 2.8-3 mm long, hairy, with dense, simple hairs. Corolla blue, 7.2-9 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, hairy on the inside, without wings, wingless. Anthers free. Ovary superior, not gibbose; style 4.5-6 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules one or two. Flowers in September and October.
