(Upright, spreading mallee), to 5 m high, bark smooth, silvery-grey over copper; new bark orange. Fl. cream-white, Jan to Feb. Grey-brown sandy clay, brown sandy loams, granite, laterite. Flats, ridges, along drainage lines, creeks, in saline depressions.
