Slender, spreading to dense, compact shrub, to 1.5 m high. Fl. pink/purple, Aug to Oct. Red sand, brown sandy loams, red-brown loams over clay, laterite gravel, ironstone, granite. Gently sloping valleys, sandplains, in depressions, along drainage lines.
