Open, acaulescent perennial, herb, 0.07-0.15 m high. Red clayey loam with laterite or banded ironstone gravel or quartz pebbles. Low-lying plains and lower slopes.

Scientific Description

Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 20-35 mm long, 6-9 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, simple hairs; margins lobed. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 15-27 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with simple hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 3-3.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 11-13 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, absent hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 3-3.5 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 6-7.5 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 0.2-0.5 mm wide on the narrower side, 1.2-1.5 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 5-5.5 mm long, rarely hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in September and October. Occurs in the Coolgardie (COO) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
