Dioecious, divaricately branched leafless shrub, 0.3-2.5 m high, hemiparasitic on roots. Fl. green-yellow-cream, Mar to Apr or Jun to Sep. Red sand, gravel, red sandy loam. Sandplains, sand dunes.
