Reed-like perennial, herb, 0.15-0.7 m high, Leaves subulate to narrowly oblanceolate, 1-3.5 cm long, 0.7-2.5 mm wide, apex acute, margin entire, glabrous or minutely papillose. Scape mostly glabrous, inflorescence axis glandular, rarely minutely papillose at base. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. pink, Aug to Nov. Sand over limestone. Dune slopes, crests and swales. Coastal heath and shrublands, Agonis or Banksia woodland, Eucalypt and Agonis forest.
