Reed-like rhizomatous, perennial, herb, 0.25-0.65 m high, Leaves absent in mature plants. Scape mostly glabrous, inflorescence axis glandular. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. pink-orange, Nov. White-grey peaty sand. Winter-wet flats. Agonis shrubland.
