Erect, sprawling or prostrate annual or perennial, herb, to 1.5 m high. Fl. yellow, Jul or Sep to Dec. White, grey, yellow, brown or red sand, black peaty sandy clay, skeletal soils, gravel, limestone, granite. Coastal dunes, along low cliffs, rock summits.
