Stems ribbed. Leaves flat, 7-30 mm long, 0.5-1 mm wide, hairy, with dense, simple hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles present, 2-3 mm long, hairy, with glandular hairs. Flowers pedicellate, the pedicels 5-20 mm long, hairy, with glandular hairs. Calyx lobes present, 6-6.5 mm long, hairy, with sparse, glandular hairs. Corolla blue, 15-27 mm long, without auricles, not spurred, hairy on the outside, glandular hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 4.5-12 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 7-15 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 1.7-4 mm wide on the narrower side, 2-4.2 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 9-12 mm long, hairy; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in February, March, April, May, June, August, September, October and November. Occurs in the Coolgardie (COO), Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL), Warren (WAR) and Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
