Slender, lax or erect shrub, to 1.5 m high. Fl. white, Aug to Dec or Jan to Feb. Grey-white sand, brown sandy clay over laterite, grey-black peaty sandy clay or loam over granite, littered or gravelly soil. Swamps, winter-wet depressions, flood plains, hills, road verges.
