Scientific Description

Erect, herb. Stems terete, not spiny, hairy; pustules or glands absent. Leaves or phylloclades clearly present, compound, alternate, continuous with stem, 20-35 mm long, hairy, with simple hairs, flat with flat margins; margins entire; tubercles absent, pinnately arranged, terminal leaflet present, stalked; pustules or glands absent. Stipules present and persistent to older leaves, 1.5-2.5 mm long, without glands, ribless. Pedicel present, 1.5-2 mm long, hairy. Bracteoles present and persistent, 0.5-1 mm long, hairy, not striate. Calyx 3-3.5 mm long, not accrescent, hairy, with simple hairs, ribless; pustules or glands absent. Corolla 7-8.6 mm long, uniformly coloured, yellow; claws present; standard 7-8.7 mm long, hairy at least in part, not auriculate, wings 5.5-6.5 mm long, not auriculate, keel 7-8.5 mm long, not beaked, not auriculate, hairy at least in part. Stamens ten; anthers 0.8 mm long, at two different levels (filaments alternately long and short), 3-3.2 mm long. Ovary stipitate, hairy or glandular; style 8-9 mm long, hairy or glandular towards the base, not bearded, terete. Fruit dehiscent (a pod or follicle), 14-22 mm long, 3.5-8 mm wide, stipitate, not constricted between the seeds, round in cross-section, glabrous, not beaked. Flowers in June. Occurs in the Northern and Eremaean Botanical Province, in the Pilbara and Central Kimberley IBRA regions.
