Scientific Description

Erect, shrub, spindly shrub (broom-like). Stems terete, not spiny, hairy; pustules or glands absent. Leaves or phylloclades clearly present, compound, alternate, not continuous with stem, 15-25 mm long, glabrous, flat with flat margins; margins entire; tubercles absent, pinnately arranged; pustules or glands absent. Stipules present and persistent to older leaves, 1.5-3 mm long, without glands, ribless. Pedicel present, 0.5-1 mm long, glabrous. Corolla 7-8 mm long, uniformly coloured, pink; claws absent; standard 7-8 mm long, glabrous, not auriculate, wings 6.5-7 mm long, not auriculate, keel 6.5-7 mm long, not beaked, not auriculate, glabrous. Stamens ten. Fruit dehiscent (a pod or follicle), 25-30 mm long, 3-4 mm wide, stipitate, not constricted between the seeds, flat or compressed, hairy, with simple hairs, not beaked. Flowers in September. Occurs in the Northern and Eremaean Botanical Province, in the Pilbara, Carnarvon and Gascoyne IBRA regions. Conservation Code Priority One (P1).
