(Mallee) or tree, 3-12 m high, bark rough, coarse & flaky on trunk, smooth above. Fl. white, Nov to Dec or Jan to Apr. Clay, often saline, sandy clay, gravelly loam. Near salt lakes, swamps, low rises, plains.
