Tree or shrub, 3-15 m high. Fl. blue-purple/white-cream, Jan to Dec (mainly Oct-Dec). Mainly sandstone or laterite. Often in gullies.

Tree. Stems, cross section more or less circular. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 40-110 mm long, 20-60 mm wide, opposite, trifoliate, not bullate, not viscid. Bracteoles absent. Bracts present. 2-2.7. mm long Pedicel present, 1.5-3 mm long, with simple hairs, peltate scales hairs present. Calyx with five lobes, 0.8-1.2 mm long, not accrescent, sparsely hairy, with simple hairs, not bullate. Corolla blue or white or cream, 10-14 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat absent, wih simple hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 12-12.5 mm long, filament 9-10 mm long, anthers 0.4-0.5 mm long. Appendage absent. Flowering time January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November or December. Distribution Botanical Province Northern, IBRA Bioregion Northern Kimberley, Central Kimberley or Dampierland.
