Shrubs. Stems, cross section more or less circular. Peltate scales absent. Leaves 6-22 mm long, 1-2.2 mm wide, opposite, entire, with simple, dendritic hairs, bullate, not viscid. Margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Bracts present. 2-3.5. mm long Pedicel present, 1.5-4 mm long, with dendritic hairs, peltate scales hairs present. Calyx with five lobes, 4.5-7 mm long, not accrescent, moderately dense, with dendritic hairs, bullate. Corolla red or red or pink, 17-27 mm long, Dots or stripes in throat absent, wih simple, dendritic hairs, not viscid, with four stamens, style 13-20 mm long, filament 9.5-12 mm long, anthers 1.7-2.2 mm long. Appendage absent. Flowering time July, August, September, October or November. Distribution Botanical Province South-West, IBRA Bioregion Avon Wheatbelt, Jarrah Forest, Mallee or Esperance.
