Tussock-forming perennial, grass-like or herb, 0.6-3 m high, leaves usually long-hairy, secreting brown droplets, panicle spiciform racemose. Fl. Feb or Apr to Aug. Stony alluvium. Rocky slopes of ranges, creeks.
