Scientific Description

Stems ribbed or unribbed. Leaves flat, 35-65 mm long, 8-15 mm wide, Indumentum present, with dense, dendritic hairs; margins toothed. Bracteoles present, 6-6.5 mm long, glabrous. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 2 mm long, Indumentum present, Hair type with absent hairs. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 3-4 mm long, hairy, with dense, simple hairs. Corolla blue, 7.5-9 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with dense, simple hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 3-4 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 4.5-5 mm long, wing present on both sides and clearly unequal, 0.3-0.7 mm wide on the narrower side, 1-1.3 mm wide on the broader side. Anthers connate. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 3.5-4 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, glabrous; ovules one or two. Flowers in October. Occurs in the Murchison (MUR) and Coolgardie (COO) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) Botanical Province. Conservation Code: Conservation code Priority One (P1).
