Caespitose perennial, herb, 0.2-0.65 m high, Leaves tufted, broadly linear to oblanceolate, (7-) 10-23 cm long, (1-) 1.5-6.5 mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, glabrous. Scape with short eglandular hairs, intermixed with glandular hairs along inflorescence axis. Inflorescence paniculate. Fl. white/pink, Aug to Oct. Loam, clayey sand or sand over laterite or limestone. Hillslopes and plains. Shrubland, heath or open woodland.
