Drosera pulchella Lehm.

Image

Drosera pulchella (Pretty Sundew) is a common pygmy sundew growing to 3–4 cm high. The species epithet is from the Latin pulchellus, meaning pretty, and alludes to its small and beautiful form, simplicity at its best. The flowers, which appear from October to December, vary considerably in colour, ranging from white to pink to orange.

Pretty Sundew is endemic to the coastal regions of south-west Western Australia and plants are associated with wet niches such as the edge of swamps and seepages and can even be found growing submersed in certain areas.
