Erect shrub, 0.3-2 m high. Fl. white/pink, May to Sep. Sandy, often gravelly soils.
Scientific Description
Shrub, spines absent; branchlets smooth, without distinct raised glands, +/- cylindrical in cross-section, covered in hairs or scales or glabrous, the hairs stellate (star-shaped). Leaves opposite, simple, 5.5-12 mm long, 3-5 mm wide, with 3 leaflets, flat, the margins revolute, smooth, without distinct raised glands, glabrous; stipular excrescences absent. Flowers; pedicels 1.5-2 mm long; calyx present, 2-3.5 mm long, smooth, without distinct raised glands, covered in hairs or scales, the hairs stellate (star-shaped); corolla pink or white or cream, petals four, 4.5-10 mm long, valvate (not overlapping), free, hairy on the surfaces; stamens twice as many as petals, smooth, hairy. Flowers in May, June, July, August and September. Occurs in the Eremaean and South-West Botanical Province, in the Avon Wheatbelt and Swan Coastal Plain IBRA region(s).
