Erect to decumbent annual, herb, 0.18-0.35 m high. Fl. purple-blue/white, Jan to Feb or Apr to Jun or Aug. Sandy soils over sandstone, skeletal soils over basalt, alluvium. In rock crevices, amongst boulders, seasonally inundated sites.
