Prostrate to ascending annual, herb, 0.02-0.2 m high. Fl. yellow, Sep to Dec. Clay, loam, sand. Winter-wet depressions, granite outcrops.
Scientific Description
Stems unribbed. Leaves flat, 6-12 mm long, 0.5-0.6 mm wide, Indumentum present, with sparse, simple hairs; margins entire. Bracteoles absent. Pedicel pedicellate, Pedicel length the pedicels 5-10 mm long, glabrous. Calyx lobes present, Calyx length 0.3-0.6 mm long, hairy, with sparse, simple hairs. Corolla yellow, 3-4 mm long, auriculate, not spurred, hairy on the outside, with sparse, simple hairs, glabrous on the inside; central lobes 0.7-1 mm long, with wings; outer lobes 1.2-1.8 mm long, wings present on both sides, 0.2-0.3 mm wide. Anthers free. Ovary inferior, not gibbose; style 1.5-2 mm long, glabrous; indusium single, hairy; ovules more than two. Flowers in September, October, November and December. Occurs in the Coolgardie (COO), Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Swan Coastal Plain (SWA), Jarrah Forest (JF), Warren (WAR) and Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA Region(s), of the Eremaean (E) and South West (SW) Botanical Province.
