Rhizomatous, perennial, herb or (fern), 0.05-0.5 m high, blade 3-pinnate at the base; both pinnule surfaces with twisted hairs. Fl. Aug. Red clayey soil. Rock crevices, slopes, granite outcrops, near waterfalls or streams.
