Erect, multi-stemmed, non-lignotuberous shrub, 0.3-1.5 m high. Fl. yellow, Aug to Nov. Grey, yellow or white sand, gravel. Sandplains.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, with curled hairs. Leaves alternate, 5-10 mm long, 0.8-1 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, straight or curved, scabrous, apex obtuse, 0.2-0.4 mm long, with 0.2 points or lobes. Inflorescences viscid, yellow. Perianth 10-14 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 10-14 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, hairy, 3-4 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 20-25 mm long. Flowers in August, September, October or November. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Avon Wheatbelt (AW), Jarrah Forest (JF), Mallee (MAL) or Esperance Plains (ESP) IBRA subregion(s).
