Shrubs, 0.35-0.65 m high; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs. Leaves alternate, 10-15 mm mm long, glabrous; lamina terete, more or less the same width throughout, once divided, tripartitely divided, entire or divided to the midrib, with 2-3 points or lobes; distance from base of leaf to lowest lobe 6-10 mm. Inflorescences not viscid, yellow. Perianth 8-10 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 10-15 mm long; pollen presenter fusiform, hairy, 2-3 mm long. Cone with persistent scales, 10-12 mm long. Flowers in September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Mallee (MAL) IBRA subregion(s). Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
