Erect, spreading or decumbent shrub, 0.15-1.5 m high. Fl. yellow, Oct to Dec. Yellow sand, often over laterite. Sandplains.

Scientific Description

Shrubs, 0.5-1.5 m high; branchlets hairy, not ribbed. Leaves alternate, 30-100 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, hairy; lamina terete, more or less the same width throughout, entire, scabrous; apex obtuse or acute. Inflorescences yellow; pedicels 5-8 mm long, hairy. Perianth 11-12 mm long, irregular, hairy, the hairs appressed; anther appendage absent; ovary glabrous; pistil 4-6 mm long. Flowers in October, November or December. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Yalgoo (YAL) or Geraldton Sandplains (GS) IBRA subregion(s).
