Shrubs, 0.6-2.7 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 35-140 mm mm long, 1-2 mm mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete or flat, entire. Inflorescences axillary, pink. Perianth 4-6 mm long, glabrous; ovary glabrous; pistil 6.5-8 mm long, pollen presenter conical, style glabrous. Follicles 20-22 mm long, 10-12 mm wide, corky tetrahedral projections (on external surfaces of fruit) absent; seed 11-12 mm long (including wing), 5-6 mm wide, the wing discontinuous, marginal, extending ± equally down both lateral sides. Flowers in September or October. Occurs in the Eremaean (ER) or South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Coolgardie (COO) or Avon Wheatbelt (AW) IBRA subregion(s).
