Shrub, Spines absent, Surface smooth, without distinct raised glands, Shape in cross-section +/- cylindrical. Indumentum Presence covered in hairs or scales or glabrous, Type stellate (star shaped) hairs. Leaves Position opposite or whorled, Indumentum glabrous, Complexity simple, Cross section of leaves or leaflets flat, Margins flat or revolute, Surface smooth, without distinct raised glands, Stipular excrescences absent. Length mm long 4-15. Width mm wide 0.6-1. Inflorescences flowers axillary, solitary. Pedicel length mm long 0.5-4. Calyx Presence present, Warty (pustulate) absent. Indumentum Presence covered in hairs or scales, Type stellate (star shaped) hairs. Length mm long 2.5-4. Corolla lobes Colour pink, Number four, Petals valvate (meeting edge to edge) not valvate (overlapping), Corolla lobes (fused into tube) not connate, Prominent raised glands absent.
