Scientific Description

Shrubs, 1-2 m high; branchlets hairy. Leaves alternate, 20-60 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire. Inflorescences axillary, cream; pedicels 2-3 mm long. Perianth 5-7 mm long, hairy; ovary glabrous; pistil 5-7 mm long, pollen presenter oblique, style glabrous. Follicles 25-35 mm long, 15-19 mm wide, corky tetrahedral projections (on external surfaces of fruit) absent; seed 25 mm long (including wing), 15-17 mm wide, the wing continuous. Flowers in September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS) or Swan Coastal Plain (SWA) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Three (P3).
