Rosetted perennial, herb, 0.15-0.45 m high, Leaves tufted, linear to narrowly oblanceolate, 1-4.5 cm long, 0.5-2 (-3) mm wide, apex subacute, margin entire, hoary. Scape mostly glabrous, inflorescence axis sparingly glandular. Inflorescence racemose. Fl. yellow, Dec. Grey to white sand or brown sandy clay loam over laterite. Gentle slopes or winter wet depressions. Mallee or Melaleuca shrubland.
