(Mallee), 4-6 m high, bark smooth, grey over cream to tan, never powdery, peeling in short strips. Fl. yellow-white, Nov or Feb. Sand, sandy clay, red-grey loams, gravel, granite. Low ground between ridges, road verges, hillsides, plains.
