Upright shrub, to 4 m high, bark thin, papery, dark. Fl. cream-yellow, Mar or Sep to Nov. Grey sand, brown gravelly sand or clay, silt, granite, laterite. Flats, slopes of range, clay depressions, edges of small lakes, road verges.
