Smooth-stemmed (mallee), to 3 m high, bark smooth grey to 2 m; differs from the typical subspecies in adult leaf, bud and fruit size. Fl. white-cream, May. Skeletal sandy loams, sandstone. Maontain hills and ridges, foothills.
