Erect shrub, to 0.7 m high. Fl. yellow-cream, Sep. Grey sand, laterite. Hilltops and rises.
Scientific Description
Shrubs, 0.5-1 m high; branchlets hairy, with straight hairs. Leaves alternate, 20-50 mm long, 1.5-2 mm wide, glabrous; lamina terete, entire, straight or curved, smooth, apex pungent, 2-3 mm long. Inflorescences not viscid, yellow. Perianth 20-24 mm long, hairy, the limb apex hairy all over; pistil 23-27 mm long; pollen presenter not fusiform, hairy, 2-3.5 mm long, the brush 1-1.3 mm long. Cone with persistent scales. Flowers in September. Occurs in the South-west (SW) Botanical Province(s), in the Geraldton Sandplains (GS), Avon Wheatbelt (AW) or Jarrah Forest (JF) IBRA subregion(s). : Conservation code Priority Two (P2).
